The opening pair of Smriti Madhana (91 runs) and Pratika Rawal (40 runs) put on 110 in 23 overs, which set up a platform for a big total in the end. The contributions from middle and lower middle order at India reach 314 for 9 in 50 overs. Defending a big total, India started really well, claiming 5 wickets for just 26 runs in first 11 overs. However, West Indies batters had no response to Renuka Singh, who took a five-wicket call for just 29 runs in 10 overs, restricting West Indies for a meagre 103 runs, setting up a big win for India.
