RCB vs SRH Match Prediction & Analysis Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 65 of the IPL 2025 this Friday at Ekana. RCB have locked in a playoff spot with 17 points from 12 matches and now aim for a top-two finish. SRH are out of the race but have looked sharper recently and will want to end strong. Looking at RCB’s form, however, they have the upper hand heading into this clash. RECENT PERFORMANCE TEAMS PREVIEW Royal Challengers Bengaluru Preview RCB have been terrific this season and have already booked their playoff spot. With two league games still to go, they’re in a strong position to finish in the top two, which would give them an extra shot at reaching the final. They’ve been steady in both batting and bowling. Virat Kohli has led the charge with the bat, scoring 505 runs in 11 innings at an average of 63.12 and a strike rate of 143.46. He’s looked in great rhythm and is well worth backing to deliver again. Phil Salt hasn’t piled on the runs, but he tends to get going early at a quick rate and sets the tone for the innings more often than not. Rajat Patidar, who’s captaining the side, has chipped in with 239 runs across 10 innings at a healthy strike rate of 140.58. In the lower order, RCB will be counting on Tim David and Romario Shepherd to provide the late push. Shepherd’s unbeaten 53 off just 14 balls against Chennai was a reminder of how dangerous he can be in the death overs. Missing Josh Hazlewood is a blow—they’ll feel his absence given the control he usually brings. But Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Krunal Pandya have stepped in with wickets and experience. Yash Dayal and Rasikh Dar, on the other hand, might feel the heat in high-pressure moments, considering they’re still settling into this level. Sunrisers Hyderabad Preview Sunrisers Hyderabad might be out of the playoff picture, but that’s taken some pressure off. They’ve played with more freedom in recent matches, the latest being a convincing win over Lucknow Super Giants, which knocked LSG out of the playoff hunt. SRH depend heavily on their top order. When the openers click—especially Abhishek Sharma—they usually put up a strong total. Abhishek has been excellent this season with 373 runs in 11 innings at a strike rate of 192.26. He just smashed a 20-ball 59 on this same ground and is a good bet to fire again with another quick 30-plus score against RCB.  There’s still no confirmation on Travis Head’s status after he missed the last match due to COVID. If he returns, it’ll give SRH even more intent at the top. In the middle order, Heinrich Klaasen, Ishan Kishan, and Nitish Kumar haven’t been consistent, but each of them has had moments—like Klaasen’s 47 off 28 last game. If one of them gets in, that might be enough to flip the game.  Down the order, Aniket Verma has quietly delivered. He’s striking at 156 and has added useful runs in the late overs. SRH’s bowling has looked a bit more settled lately. Pat Cummins is finding a rhythm, and Harshal Patel has been effective with his slower balls and cutters in the middle. Zeeshan Ansari and Eshan Malinga have combined for 14 wickets and have done well to hold things down through the middle overs. Weather Conditions Ekana isn’t the kind of surface where you can go hard from ball one. Batters usually need a few balls to adjust before they can start scoring freely. Once they settle in, the runs tend to come easier. Spinners tend to get some help through the middle overs, while quicks won’t find much to work with. They’ll have to mix up their pace—using cutters and slower balls—to stay in the game.  The heat and humidity in Lucknow will push the players, but at least the weather forecast looks clear, and we should have a full game. RCB vs SRH Pitch Report The average first-innings score at Ekana is around 170. KKR set the highest score here last season with 235/6 against LSG, winning by a massive 98 runs. Based on how the surface has played during IPL 2025, anything under 190 might not be enough. Targets in the 190–200 range—or higher—look safer if you want to stay ahead. Toss: To Bowl Ekana has seen six IPL 2025 matches so far, and the chasing side has taken the win in five of them — a clear pattern suggesting that the pitch and conditions here suit the team batting second.

IPL 2024: Dinesh Karthik’s 83 not enough as SRH’s 287 too good for RCB

Dinesh Karthik’s heroic effort was not enough for RCB as SRH secured a 25-run win over the hosts in the IPL 2024 run-fest in Bengaluru on Monday. Over 500 runs were scored, but Hyderabad managed to squeeze in a superb win over RCB. RCB managed to reach 262 but still fell 25 runs short of SRH’s record-breaking 287 for 3 in the match. With this batting effort RCB also the first team to score over 250 when chasing in an IPL match. It was their 2nd-highest total in the IPL and 5th-highest total in the tournament history. In what could easily be regarded as one of the finest display of batting in a T20 encounter, close to 550 runs were amassed in this match, precisely 549. However, despite witnessing an astounding total, Hyderabad emerged victorious, boasting an insurmountable lead. This fixture not only saw an unprecedented scoring spree but also shattered numerous records, officially securing its place as the highest-scoring T20 game ever recorded. With a staggering count of 79 boundaries, comprising 43 fours and 36 sixes, the sheer magnitude of this achievement is almost unfathomable. IPL 2024 Full Coverage | IPL 2024 Points Table and Standings | 2024 IPL Full Schedule Bengaluru suffered their sixth loss in seven games and remains rooted at the bottom of the table but this shows how underwhelming they have been with the ball. The batters gave it their all but 288 to get in 120 legal deliveries is almost unthinkable. Both Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis started aggressively and got a plethora of boundaries away but Kohli got out for 42, after which Faf went on a rampage, but the next three batters that came in couldn’t even get into double figures. Faf du Plessis eventually got out on 62, after which Dinesh Karthik took matters into his hands and just about kept Bengaluru with a 1 percent chance of a win. He made a sensational 83 off 35 balls but got out in the 19th over and even Anuj Rawat’s little cameo in the final over wasn’t nearly enough to get them that crucial win. Defending a massive total of 287 runs, Hyderabad couldn’t pick up a wicket in the Powerplay and were a bit unlucky with the edges and ended up conceding 79 runs. It was then Mayank Markande who knocked over Virat Kohli right after the Powerplay and then skipper Pat Cummins got a couple of quick wickets to hand Hyderabad the advantage. With 5 wickets already in the bag, the visitors couldn’t capitalize and seemed nervous in the death overs. Cummins did provide one more breakthrough but they kept conceding boundaries at an alarming rate and it was T Natarajan who finally got DK in the penultimate over that sealed the game. Overall, not the best bowling performance but there were some positives, especially the way Cummins bowled. HEAD POWERS SRH TO 287 Travis Head’s blistering century powered SRH to a staggering 287 for three against a struggling RCB in their IPL 2024 encounter. This marked a new record, surpassing their previous high of 277 against MI earlier in the season. Head led from the front with a scintillating 102 off just 41 deliveries, marking his maiden T20 hundred. He formed crucial partnerships, first putting on 108 runs with Abhishek Sharma (34 off 22 balls) and then adding 57 with Heinrich Klaasen, who blazed his way to 67 off 31 balls. The left-handed Head’s batting style may lack elegance, but his sheer effectiveness was evident as he relentlessly punished the RCB bowlers. His approach was simple yet devastating: anything in his hitting zone was dispatched with authority. Even the introduction of debutant Lockie Ferguson failed to stem the flow of runs, with Head taking a particular liking to his bowling. Ferguson’s first over was forgettable, conceding 18 runs as Head unleashed his power with disdain. Despite losing Head after his hundred, Hyderabad’s onslaught continued unabated, with Klaasen taking over the role of aggressor. The South African hammered the spinners, including a brutal assault on Mahipal Lomror, yielding 18 runs in a single over. Hyderabad’s assault culminated in a monumental total, with Aiden Markram’s single off Vysakh Vijayakumar marking the historic moment as they surpassed their own record total. Hyderabad, as habitual to begin on a flier, started off exactly in the same way. After examining the pitch for the first over, the dual southpaw duo opened the floodgates from the get-go, going aggressively against the Bengaluru bowlers. Travis Head was the real aggressor as he timed the ball to perfection. It seemed like the ball was just effortlessly springing off his bat into the stands. Hyderabad boosted to 100 for no loss in just 7.1 overs. Abhishek Sharma too, didn’t stay quiet for long and joined the party before getting dismissed on a well-supported 34. The Aussie southpaw however looked in no mood to calm down and went on to notch up a sensational 102 before getting out. But, the damage continued as Heinrich Klaasen joined the party and smashed a 23-ball half-century and kept inflating the scoring rate with glorious strokes. After his departure, Abdul Samad further compounded the damage as he struck a quickfire 37 off a 10-ball cameo. Aiden Markram too didn’t sit back and further helped his team to surpass the 277 mark, a record that they set just a few games ago. Records shattered left, right, and center, bowlers left reeling with absolute helplessness, and once again, it’s the team clad in orange and black that has showcased unrelenting ruthlessness with the bat. Indeed, Hyderabad has developed a habit of toppling records remarkably. Picture this – 22 monstrous sixes along with 19 boundaries. It is the second-highest team total in the history of all T20s and the highest total in the history of the Indian T20 League. It tells you a story, the kind of nightmare the Hyderabad batters have wreaked on this already struggling Bengaluru bowling attack. Published By: Saurabh Kumar…

Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad T20 Match Prediction & Betting Tips, IPL 2024 RCB will take on SRH in the 30th match of the IPL 2024. The match will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru and will start at 7:30 PM IST on April 15. RCB find themselves in a desperate situation. The team is languishing at the bottom of the table with one win and five defeats. It will be false if RCB’s poor show was not expected as the team looked completely off balance.  The bowling was a concern heading into the tournament and the team’s worst nightmare came true as none of the bowlers made any impact. In the batting as well, Virat Kohli did exceptionally well but he got absolutely no support from the other end. SRH, on the other hand, look a real force. They have won two games and lost three matches. The team is laced with match winners from top to bottom. SRH have been bowled out for low scores in a couple of games but they have also posted some of the biggest totals in the tournament, including 277 vs MI.  The batting unit comprising Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klassen have started in fourth gear thus either they bat the opposition out of the contest or collapse. On a small Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB will be under massive pressure against SRH. RCB vs SRH Match Toss PredictionThe match will be played at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and it is no secret that the captain winning the toss will bowl first as defending is not easy here. RCB vs SRH Pitch ReportThe pitch at the Chinnaswamy Stadium will be flat and there won’t be much help on offer. The spinners get odd balls to grip and turn but it’s a very small ground and even mishits go over the ropes thus there is very little bowlers can do here. Bengaluru Weather ReportBangalore is going through a dry spell thus rain is not a concern. The temperature will range between 35 and 21 degrees and the humidity will be around 30 per cent.
