But an Indian legend’s fielding record in Tests could be toppled by an Englishman during the series. England’s Joe Root is now just two catches away from dislodging former Indian captain Rahul Dravid for the most catches in Tests by a fielder. Dravid currently leads the charts with 210 catches in 164 Tests, averaging 0.697 catches per innings. Joe Root is close behind him with 208 catches in 153 Tests at 0.714 catches per innings.
