The hosts were on top throughout this tour winning the ODI series 3-0 and the Test by 10 wickets. However, even after winning the toss in both T20Is, the hosts couldn’t get what they would have wanted. South Africa Women posted some very competitive totals on both occasions. The 2nd T20I was washed out after 1st innings. The visitors have a real chance of winning the series. They have enjoyed the pitch conditions so far with their batters delivering pretty impactful knocks at all key positions. In the 1st T20I, they struggled to find a breakthrough after the fall of the 1st wicket in the 8th Over. While the hosts were better than that in the next match, finding regular breakthroughs, they continued to be expensive in the death overs. Deepthi Sharma, Radha Yadav, and Pooja Vastrakar are the key bowlers in this squad to watch out for. These three will need to lead the wicket-taking efforts and ensure India are on top of the game. South Africa Women South Africa Women are looking in great touch with consistent batting performances. Their lower order also came to the party in the last match as they delivered a big finish in the final over of the innings. The openers Laura Wolvaardt and Tamzin Brits have taken an attacking approach to their batting. The skipper scored 22 off 12 in her last outing while Brits has scored 52 of 81 in the two matches so far. Experienced and in-form batters in the top order make the Proteas very strong. NEW DELHI: Sunil Narine‘s dazzling half-century, combined with a strong performance from the bowlers, led Kolkata Knight Riders to a commanding 98-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL on Sunday.LSG’s decision to bowl first backfired, as KKR became the first team to score over 200 runs at the Ekana Stadium.Narine showcased his batting prowess once again, smashing 81 off 38 balls, including seven sixes and six fours, to propel KKR to an imposing total of 235/6.LSG faced a daunting chase and needed to start aggressively, but they struggled to find the big shots and were eventually bowled out for 137 in 16.1 overs. Within the first 10 overs, LSG had lost half the side including skipper KL Rahul (25), Arshin Kulkarni (9), Deepak Hooda (5) and big hitters Marcus Stoinis (36) and Nicholas Pooran (10).Ashton Turner hit some lusty blows and looked in mood to showcase his batting prowess but the Australian was supremely unlucky as an inside edge deflected off his boot with Varun Chakravarthy completing a caught and bowled. With the win KKR moved to the top of the table. They have 16 points, the same as Rajasthan Royals but have played one game more.LSG, on the other hand, dropped out of the top four to the fifth spot with 12 points from 11 games. Earlier, the in-form Narine, who was dropped twice in the space of two balls, smoked five boundaries in five balls, setting the tone for the KKR innings.First, he hammered back-to-back fours off Naveen-ul-Haq in the last two balls of the third over. He then attacked the offside, hitting three boundaries on the trot off Mohsin Khan in the fourth over. Narine and Phil Salt (32) gave the two-time champions the explosive start they have come to expect from the duo. The Australian batter entered the top ten rankings for the first time in his career having recently established as one of the best big-hitters in T20 cricket.  Head has scored 80 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 177.77 as Australia secured the Super 8 qualification with a thumping win over Namibia on Wednesday. Head jumped six places up to the tenth spot with his career-best ratings of 651. Head became Australia’s top-ranked batter in the ICC rankings, replacing the 14th-placed Mitchell Marsh. In major changes to the T20I rankings, Pakistan skipper Babar Azam jumped to third position in the ICC T20I battings rankings. Babar replaced compatriot Mohammad Rizwan who slipped to fourth place after struggling to impress in the ongoing World Cup in the USA and West Indies.  Both Babar and Rizwan are struggling to impress in the ICC T20 World Cup as Pakistan is potentially facing an early elimination with just one win in three matches. Babar has scored 90 runs at a strike rate of 104.65 while Rizwan has top-scored with 93 runs at 88.57.  England’s wicketkeeper batter Phil Salt remains in the second spot with 800 ratings and battles for the top spot with India’s Suryakumar Yadav who has 837 ratings despite a poor display in the first two matches in the World Cup. Suryakumar has been dominating the top spot in the T20I batting rankings for the last couple of years but is facing a strong competition after scoring just nine runs in two innings in the USA.  However, despite not featuring in the playing eleven of the first two games, Yashasvi Jaiswal holds on to his sixth position in the ICC T20I batting rankings.
