After posting 169/7, there were some commentators who thought the game may still be in the balance but in the end some strong bowling by the Super Kings saw them dismiss the Super Giants and win with two overs to spare.
Although they won that match, captain Faf du Plessis will be demanding more from himself and his fellow batters in this clash after he was dismissed for a three-ball one and four others of their six fell for scores between 22 and 38.
Pretoria Capitals Preview
Pretoria Capitals were dealt a blow on Wednesday when it was announced that their star pace bowler, Anrich Nortje, was not only ruled out of this tournament but also the upcoming Champions Trophy with a back injury. Although he has not featured in either either of their three games so far in this campaign, his pace, accuracy and hostility were expected to be on full show in this clash.
