IPL 2025: Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill show Delhi Capitals what they have been missing this season | Cricket News

Gujarat Titans’ captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan being congratulated by Delhi Capitals’ KL Rahul (PTI Photo) NEW DELHI: KL Rahul did much of the heavy-lifting for Delhi Capitals as they batted first against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday evening. During his 60-ball century, and eventual 112* from 65 balls, he ticked plenty of boxes in an effortless knock which took DC to 199 runs, their biggest total at this venue in IPL 2025.While playing 65 balls (the most by a batter this IPL season), he pocketed numerous milestones along the way as well: fastest Indian to 8000 T20 runs, fourth on the list of most centurions in IPL history, joint-third in the list of most centuries by Indians in T20s.His innings was stupendously paced as well. In his first 20 balls, he scored 25 runs. In the next 20 balls each he scored 38 and 39 runs, respectively. The last five balls fetched 10 runs. As far as pacing an innings in a T20 is concerned, this was template stuff. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!And this was the plan all along as DC moved KL Rahul to top of the order. Having tried multiple combinations with none of them proving fruitful, the franchise rolled the dice again. And again, it didn’t work out. Faf du Plessis fell for 5 after a laboured start, producing an opening stand of just 16 runs. But it allowed KL Rahul more time to get settled before going into the attacking mode, which saw 14 fours and four sixes. Except, it wasn’t enough — by a long margin. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill showed what DC have been missing all this season — a set pair to open the innings. The pairing collected their seventh 50-plus stand for the first wicket in IPL 2025. And when they crossed the 100-run mark without much of a fuss, it was their seventh in IPL history. As the score ticked to 158 runs, the records just became harsh on DC, as it was the highest opening stand against them. Not long after, Sudharsan, fittingly, got the job done with a six. The manner of the result was also duly appropriate. Half-tracker outside off by Vipraj Nigam, Sudharsan went on the back foot and pulled well over long-on. Six and Gujarat Titans had earned themselves a 10-wicket win and a place in the playoffs. Well, themselves and Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings as well. The maximum to close the match out was the 11th six of the GT innings, which coupled with the 15 fours, meant 126 of the 205 runs that GT scored came in boundaries or 61.46%. Sudharsan’s 108 from 61 balls and Gill’s 93 from 53 balls were laden with boundaries, yet there was little risk involved. Where Gill controlled 82% of his shots, Sudharsan was on 85% on that metric. Bombay Sport Exchange Ep 5: Shane Watson on how IPL gave him a lifeline & his tribute to Phil Hughes “We’ve batted and played really well throughout, going into the playoffs is a reward for how well we’ve done. Openers play low-risk cricket, still they have the ability to hit down the ground and find boundaries. The fours they hit during the game, especially. They know their game, they put a lot of work in strengthening their basics which shows,” said GT assistant coach Parthiv Patel after the win.“Opening pair is about chemistry and knowing each other’s games wel,l which they do,” he added. On the eve of the match, Parthiv had stressed on looking at the glass-half-full with their batting, suggesting he was focused on the top order doing the job for them. And on Sunday, that glass just got a bit fuller. Get IPL 2025 match schedules, squads, points table, and live scores for CSK, MI, RCB, KKR, SRH, LSG, DC, GT, PBKS, and RR. Rishabh Pant’s LSG hosts SRH with IPL 2025 playoff hopes on the line

Rishabh Pant’s LSG hosts SRH with IPL 2025 playoff hopes on the line

LUCKNOW 18/05/2025: Lucknow Super Giants skipper Rishabh Pant during practice session on the eve of their IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, in Lucknow on Sunday. May 18, 2025 PHOTO SANDEEP SAXENA to protect | Photo Credit: SANDEEP SAXENA The eight-day suspension of the IPL threw a spanner in the works for the BCCI, international cricket calendar and fans. However, the break might just be what Lucknow Super Giants needed to steady a stuttering campaign. Three defeats on the trot, and four in the last five, have left its playoff hopes hanging by the thinnest of threads. LSG needs to win its three remaining matches, starting with the clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium here on Monday, and hope teams above them stumble for an improbable top-four finish. While its ₹27 crore captain Rishabh Pant has endured a disappointing run, SRH is one of the teams the left-hander loves facing in the IPL. Pant is one of only seven players to have scored more than 550 runs against SRH and has the highest strike rate (144.61) among them. Super Giants, led by Shardul Thakur’s four-fer, laid bare the weak spots in Sunrisers’ armour when the two met earlier in the season. It was the first of four consecutive defeats for SRH, putting it in the fast lane to elimination. However, the visitor’s washed out game against Delhi Capitals showed how it can perform when the weight of expectations is off its shoulders, something that should keep LSG on its toes. Having lost star pacer Mayank Yadav to injury once again, pressure will be on Shardul, Akash Deep and Digvesh Rathi to ensure that LSG, with the worst economy rate in the PowerPlay (10.54) this season, does not get taken to the cleaners by SRH’s batting arsenal. 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 : Nepal Women vs United Arab Emirates Women𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 : May 19,Monday𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 : 08:30 AM IST𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐄 : TerdThai Cricket Ground, Bangkok, Thailand 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 : ICC T20 Women’s World Cup Asia Qualifier, 2025 Big challenge for UAE Women’s batters against Nepal Nepal Women vs United Arab Emirates Women TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. NEP-W vs UAE-W Match Prediction & Analysis We are in the 2nd Super Three game in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier 2025. We will have Nepal Women up against the United Arab Emirates Women in this game as both teams seek to establish dominance. Nepal has had a mixed bag of seasons and shall aim for a strong show. UAE Women lost to Thailand Women in the last game and aim for a comeback.   Nepal Women have a good record against the United Arab Emirates Women. They have won four out of five games between the two teams. The side has a strong bowling attack and shall look to leverage it in this game. The United Arab Emirates’ batters struggled in the last game, and it remains to be seen if they can make a strong comeback. TEAMS PREVIEW Nepal Women Preview Indu Barma’s team hasn’t enjoyed consistency this season. They defeated Bahrain Women in the last game by 6 wickets to earn their place in the Super Three. They will face a tougher challenge in this game against the United Arab Emirates. Indu Barma expects a strong show from her players in this game.  Samjhana Khadka is the best batter in the team, and she must deliver a strong start in this game with Rubi Poddar. The middle order has struggled in recent games, and they need good performances from Indu Barma, Kabita Joshi, and Puja Mahato. Rubina Chhetry and Bindu Rawal must do well in the lower middle order for the team to win.   Puja Mahato and Kabita Kunwar must get early breakthroughs in the game as the United Arab Emirates Women have a strong batting lineup. Indu Barma has done well in recent games and must deliver the goods in the supporting role from Ishwori Bist and Riya Sharma. Rajmati Airee must do well in the supporting role. United Arab Emirates Women Preview Esha Rohit Oza and her side will look for a strong comeback in this game. They went down by 54 runs in the last game against Thailand Women, where the batting lineup didn’t meet expectations. Oza will look to lead from the front in this game and get the best performance out of her players.   Esha Rohit Oza has batted well in the tournament, and the team expects her to deliver a strong start in this game with Theertha Satish. The middle order is a weakness for the team, and they need partnerships between Lavanya Keny, Michelle Botha, and Heena Hotchandani. The team will expect a good show in the lower middle order from Udeni Dona and Keziah Miriam Sabin.   The bowling attack struggled in the last game and will look to bowl better lines. Heena Hotchandani and Suraksha Kotte must get early breakthroughs to put the team in a strong position. Michelle Botha must improve her efforts in the middle overs with Katie Thompson. Athige Silva and Esha Rohit Oza must do well in the supporting role as Nepal’s batters will take them on. Weather Conditions It will be overcast skies over Bangkok, and we will likely see a slow wicket, as we have seen in earlier games. Batters would struggle here and have to play to the merit of the ball. A score above 140 runs would be good for the side batting first. NEP-W vs UAE-W Pitch Report Terdthai Cricket Ground, Bangkok, is a tough wicket for the batters as the ball doesn’t come onto the bat nicely. Fast bowlers will have some assistance from the surface and look to take advantage of it. It has been a good hunting ground for spinners in the past. Toss: To Bowl We expect a slow wicket and rain disruption. In a rain-curtailed game, the side chasing the score has an advantage. Both teams will have this on their minds at the toss and choose to bowl first on winning the toss.

United Arab Emirates vs Bangladesh, UAE vs BAN 2025, Today Match Prediction

United Arab Emirates vs Bangladesh, UAE vs BAN 2025, Today Match Prediction

𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 : United Arab Emirates vs Bangladesh 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 : May 19,Monday𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 : 20:30 PM IST𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐄 : Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 : 2nd T20, 2025 Bangladesh have beaten UAE in all four of their previous T20 clashes, including the first T20I of this series. United Arab Emirates vs Bangladesh TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. UAE vs BAN Match Prediction & Analysis Bangladesh and UAE meet again on Monday in Sharjah for the second and final T20I of the series. With a 1-0 lead already secured, Bangladesh will want to wrap things up with a sweep. UAE, on the other hand, are just trying to avoid going down 2-0. Given how the first game played out and the overall gap between the two teams, Bangladesh look well-placed to finish the job. TEAMS PREVIEW United Arab Emirates Preview UAE were clearly second-best in the series opener. After allowing Bangladesh to pile up 191 runs, they could only manage 164 in response, falling short by 27 runs. Still, not all was bad for the hosts. Muhammad Waseem stood tall once again with a 54 off 39, keeping them in the hunt early on. As their most dependable batter, he’ll have to carry the top order again in this match too.  As for the others, Asif Khan chipped in with a brisk 42 off 21, and Rahul Chopra added 35 off 22, giving the innings some spark. Beyond those three, though, the rest didn’t offer much resistance. UAE will hope Alishan Sharafu and Muhammad Zohaib can step up, as they have the ability to steady things or accelerate when needed. With the ball, Muhammad Jawadullah was the standout, grabbing 4 for 21 in his spell. He’ll lead the charge again. Dhruv Parashar, Haider Ali, and Muhammad Zuhaib can offer support, but the bowling as a whole needs to lift if they want to hold Bangladesh back. Bangladesh Preview Bangladesh will take plenty of confidence from their showing in the first T20I. They put up 191-7 batting first on a surface that wasn’t the easiest, with Parvez Hossain Emon smashing a superb 100 off 54 balls. The rest of the batters didn’t contribute much — no one else got past 20. In the next match, they’ll look to Litton Das to give them a strong start. Tanzid Hasan and Towhid Hridoy are both capable of putting together a big knock, and Jaker Ali — who topped the run charts in the series against West Indies at home in December last year — could be a difference-maker in the middle order. With Mustafizur Rahman heading back for IPL duty, Bangladesh will need to reshuffle the attack. Nahid Rana might get a run — his speed and bounce could trouble UAE’s less experienced lineup. Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Hasan Mahmud, who combined for five wickets in the first match, will aim to keep things tight again. Mahedi Hasan’s control and ability to keep things quiet early on should also come in handy. Weather Conditions The track at Sharjah usually stays even and gives both bowlers and batters something to work with. The surface tends to stay consistent, giving batters a decent platform to build an innings. Early on, pacers can make use of the bounce, while spinners usually come into the game as it progresses. Batters need to spend some time in the middle before they start taking risks—this isn’t the place to swing from ball one.  Weather-wise, conditions will be dry and hot, with no threat of rain during the game.  UAE vs BAN Pitch Report Sharjah Cricket Stadium has an average first-innings score of 151. The highest total achieved here is Afghanistan’s 215 for 6 against Zimbabwe in 2016. If Bangladesh bats first, they’ll aim for something between 180 and 190. For UAE, a first-innings score near 170 might be their ceiling and will give their bowlers something to work with. Toss: To Bat Of the 39 T20Is played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, including the series opener, 24 have been won by the team batting first — a clear sign that defending a total tends to work better here.

ISU vs KRK Pitch Report Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi is going to host the 30th match of the Pakistan Super League 2025 played between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings. Toss: To Bat Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium has been a great venue for side batting first. Majority of the PSL matches played this season have been won by side winning the toss and opting to bat first.

KKR have themselves to blame for IPL 2025 elimination: Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch feels that Kolkata Knight Riders have themselves to blame for their exit from the IPL 2025 in the group stages. KKR, who came into the competition as the defending champions, struggled to find consistency, despite retaining most of their core from last season. KKR was in a do-or-die situation after their loss to CSK at home before IPL 2025 was halted for a week and needed a win against RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium on Saturday, May 17. However, the match got washed out with a delivery being bowled, meaning that KKR’s title defence came to an end. Speaking on Kuhl Fans Match Centre Live on JioHotstar, Finch said that the campaign didn’t start well for KKR and they fumbled the entry point for Andre Russell. The former Aussie skipper felt that the all-rounder wasn’t given enough chances to influence games. “It didn’t start well for them. Andre Russell, being the match-winner that he is and has been for such a long time, was batting too far down the order for much of the tournament. He simply wasn’t given the opportunities to influence games the way he can. They’ve only got themselves to blame,” said Finch. ‘Too many moments where KKR didn’t click’ Finch also pointed out to the CSK loss, saying that it was a game KKR had in their bag before letting it slip away. Finch felt that throughout the campaign, Kolkata failed to click at various moments. They almost kicked themselves after that last game against CSK – it was theirs to win. The match was almost wrapped up, and they still couldn’t cross the line, which turned out to be an incredible win for Chennai. Throughout the season, there were too many moments where KKR just didn’t click,” said Finch. KKR have one match left against SRH on Sunday, May 25 in Delhi. Kolkata has 12 points from 13 matches and will aim to finish on a high. Stay updated on IPL 2025 with India Today! Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars, PSLT20, Today Match Prediction

𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 : Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars 𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄 : May 18,Sunday𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 : 20:30 PM IST 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐄 : Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi, Pakistan 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 : Pakistan Super League, 2025 Peshawar and Lahore Battle for Playoff Spot Peshawar Zalmi vs Lahore Qalandars TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. PSZ vs LHQ Match Prediction & Analysis Peshawar Zalmi square off against Lahore Qalandars in match 29 of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 season on Sunday, 18th May. The match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi and the scheduled start time is 8:30 PM IST.  Peshawar Zalmi will be looking to bounce back after suffering a 23-run defeat against Karachi Kings in their previous match, where they fell short in their chase of 238 runs. Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars also experienced a loss in their last outing, succumbing to the Karachi Kings by 4 wickets (via the DLS method) in a rain-affected game. Current Standings – Peshawar Zalmi occupy the 5th position with 8 points from 9 matches (4 wins and 5 losses), while Lahore Qalandars are just ahead in 4th place with 9 points from 9 matches (4 wins, 4 losses, and 1 no result). This encounter is a crucial must-win game for both franchises as they aim to climb up the table. TEAMS PREVIEW Peshawar Zalmi Preview Peshawar Zalmi will be disappointed with their performance in their recent match against Karachi Kings. Their bowlers didn’t hit their mark, and despite being in the chase for a good part of the innings (16 overs), Zalmi let the game slip away in the final few overs. Bowling first, Zalmi conceded a high score of 237 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Luke Wood was the standout bowler, taking 2 wickets while giving away only 19 runs. However, Ali Raza had a tough time, being very expensive by conceding 60 runs in his 4 overs (15 runs per over).  Ahmed Daniyal also had a costly spell, giving away 66 runs in his 4 overs (16.5 runs per over). Arif Yaqoob was the only other bowler besides Luke Wood who kept the runs down, conceding less than 10 runs per over and also picking up a wicket. Then in the run-chase, Saim Ayub (47 runs) and Babar Azam (a brilliant 94 runs off just 49 balls) gave Zalmi some hope with a 77-run partnership for the second wicket. Unfortunately for Zalmi, none of the batsmen in the middle order performed as expected, and as a result, they fell short by 23 runs. Lahore Qalandars Preview Lahore Qalandars are in a reasonably good position right now, sitting at 4th place as they head into this game. They are coming off a 4-wicket loss against Karachi Kings, a match where they were in a strong position at the halfway point of the innings. In their last match against the Kings, Lahore batted first and scored 160 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 15 overs. Mohammad Naeem (65 runs off 29 balls) and Fakhar Zaman (51 runs off 33 balls) got them off to a great start, putting on a 90-run partnership in 8 overs for the first wicket.  The Qalandars then added another 70 runs in the remaining 7 overs. Despite setting a decent total, the Qalandars couldn’t defend it, conceding 21 runs in the 14th over and another 20 runs in the 15th over, which ultimately cost them the match. Fakhar Zaman is currently the leading run-scorer for the Qalandars with 309 runs. Shafique (254 runs) and Sikandar Raza (228 runs) have also made valuable contributions with the bat. In the bowling department, Haris Rauf is their top wicket-taker with 11 wickets, but he has been a bit expensive, giving away close to 11 runs per over. Sikandar Raza (8 wickets) and Rishad Hossain (9 wickets) have been key bowlers for the Qalandars in the middle overs. Weather Conditions The weather at Rawalpindi on Sunday, 18th May is expected to be around 33°C and a sunny day the wind blowing at 5 km/hr and 23% humidity.  PSZ vs LHQ Pitch Report The pitch at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is really good for batting and has been a high scoring venue. So far this season, the average score when a team bats first in the 8 matches played is a high 219 runs. What’s interesting is that teams batting first have managed to score more than 200 runs a whopping 8 times this season. On the other hand, when teams are chasing a target, they’ve only managed to score more than 160 runs just once this whole season.  Toss: To Bowl Teams batting first have dominated at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium this season, winning 7 out of the 8 matches played. Chasing has proven challenging at this venue, as the pitch tends to slow down slightly, making it difficult for batters to time their shots effectively. Therefore, we anticipate that the team winning the toss will opt to bat first.

MS vs QTG Match Prediction & Analysis Multan Sultans lockhorns against Quetta Gladiators in match 28 of Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Sunday, 18th May, 2025. The match is slated to be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi and the scheduled start time is 15:30 PM IST.  Current Standings – Multan Sultan stand at the bottom of the points table with 2 points in 9 matches ( 1 win & 8 losses) and on the other hand Quetta Gladiators stand at the top of the points table with 13 points in 9 matches (6 wins, 2 losses & 1 no result). Head to Head Record –  Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators squared off in 14 matches in the PSL and Quetta Gladiators won 5 matches, while Multan Sultans hold a dominant record with 9 wins. In their last meeting, Quetta Gladiators defeated Multan Sultans by 10 wickets earlier in the season.  TEAMS PREVIEW Multan Sultans Preview It’s a tough situation for the Multan Sultans as they’ve been knocked out of the tournament, having suffered 8 defeats. In their last match against Peshawar Zalmi is now a dead rubber. In that encounter, the Sultans were bundled out for a meager 108 runs in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope top-scored with 23 runs, followed by Tayyab Tahir with 22, and Mohammad Rizwan, who got a start with 17 runs but couldn’t convert it into a substantial innings. The Sultans’ batting has been their Achilles’ heel this season. Despite boasting quality international players, they’ve struggled to capitalize and post competitive totals. Mohammad Rizwan has been a lone warrior with the bat, accumulating 363 runs in 9 matches at an impressive average of 61. On the bowling front, Ubaid Shah leads the wicket-taking charts with 11 scalps. However, the rest of the bowling attack has lacked the consistency and penetration needed throughout the season. In this final game, the Sultans will be playing for pride, aiming to finish their campaign on a winning note. Quetta Gladiators Preview The Quetta Gladiators have had a remarkable campaign thus far, establishing themselves as a formidable force with 6 wins. They will be aiming to conclude the league stage at the top of the table, as the Kings are breathing down their necks, also sitting on 12 points. A victory in their upcoming match would secure the top spot for the Gladiators. In their previous encounter, the Gladiators locked horns with Islamabad United and, batting first, posted a mammoth total of 263/3. Rilee Rossouw smashed a blistering 104 runs off just 46 deliveries, while Hasan Nawaz remained unbeaten on a magnificent 100 runs from 45 balls. Subsequently, the Gladiators’ bowlers dismantled Islamabad United for a mere 154 runs in 19.3 overs. Mohammad Amir spearheaded the bowling attack, bagging an impressive 3 wickets for just 6 runs. Hasan Nawaz is currently the leading run-scorer for the Quetta Gladiators with 250 runs. With the ball, the enigmatic Abrar Ahmed has been their trump card, picking up 14 wickets and leading the wicket-taking chart for the Gladiators.  Rilee Rossouw has also been in scintillating form, accumulating 234 runs this season. The bowling unit has been a cohesive force, with Faheem Ashraf (13 wickets), Mohammad Amir (10 wickets), and Khurram Shahzad (11 wickets) all contributing significantly, making it a challenging prospect for opposition teams this season. Weather Conditions The weather at Rawalpindi on Sunday, 18th May is expected to be around 33°C and a sunny day the wind blowing at 5 km/hr and 23% humidity.  MS vs QTG Pitch Report The pitch at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium heavily favors the batters, making it a high-scoring venue. The average first innings score across the 8 matches played this season is a substantial 219 runs. Notably, scores exceeding 200 have been achieved 8 times when batting first this season. In stark contrast, only once a team has scored over 160 runs while chasing this season.  Toss: To Bat Teams batting first have dominated at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium this season, winning 7 out of the 8 matches played. Chasing has proven challenging at this venue, as the pitch tends to slow down slightly, making it difficult for batters to time their shots effectively. Therefore, we anticipate that the team winning the toss will opt to bat first.

DC vs GT pitch report: How will surface be at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in match 60?

DC vs GT pitch report: How will surface be at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi in match 60?

Delhi Capitals will host Gujarat Titans in match 60 of the ongoing IPL 2025. Both teams are in contention to qualify for the playoffs and a hard-hitting contest is expected at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on May 18. New Delhi: Delhi Capitals will host Gujarat Titans in match 60 of the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Given that both teams are well in contention to qualify for the playoffs, and fight for a spot in the top two, the match is expected to live up to the expectations. However, there are some complex issues that each team will have to sort out before taking the field on May 18. For Delhi, Mitchell Starc, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Donovan Ferreira have been ruled out of the competition. Mustafizur Rahman has been signed, but the Bangladesh international will reach India on the matchday itself and he might end up not featuring in the playing XI. Nevertheless, they will heavily miss the service of Starc, who was exceptional for them this season. However, they will hope to produce a good performance at home and get the job done. When it comes to Gujarat, the Shubman Gill-led side will be in a dilemma. Jos Buttler will not be available for the playoffs but they will have to keep playing him as Kusal Mendis can only join them on May 26.
