Quetta Gladiators have won back-to-back matches and will be eying a third straight win against a struggling Multan side. While Gladiators have struggled with the bat, their bowlers are on top of their game. Sultans, on the other hand, have been inconsistent with their performances lately.

Quetta Gladiators Preview
Quetta Gladiators crossed the 170-run mark in their last outing. While that was a much better performance than their previous matches, the batting concerns are far from over.
There wasnβt a single fifty in the innings for QTG and they lost 7 wickets on their way to a 178-run total while batting first. The batting lineup looks solid with Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen opening the innings followed by Rilee Rossouw and Kusal Mendis at 3 and 4.
The lack of consistency from these top 4 batters is a big issue for the Gladiators going ahead in this league. The recent performance against Peshawar Zalmi will likely give some hope to the Gladiators.
The top 4 batters were decent while Allen was particularly impressive with his 16-ball 31-run knock. Mark Chapman and Faheem Ashraf have the finishing responsibilities in this batting order. Chapman is a promising batsman from New Zealand and we reckon he will come good in this match.

Nevertheless, it wasnβt enough as Sultans lost the match by 5 wickets. That total was never going to be enough at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore where the wicket offers plenty of help for the batters.
Sultans need to learn from their lessons and quickly bounce back. They are up against a bowling attack that has delivered exceptional spells on the same ground where other teams have scored big.
Yasir Khar, Mohammad Rizwan, and Usman Khan will be the key players to watch out for in the top 3. Hope can bring about a major change for the Sultans at number 4.
However, Sultans have to tackle another major issue which is their bowling. They have failed to impress in their last two outings. Mohammad Hasnain and Josh Little will be leading the pace attack for Multan Sultans.
