When these two sides met last Monday, it was Namibia who came out on top, winning by 23 runs, but since that game they have both had differing results against USA which makes this fixture particularly hard to call.

There will be plenty of self-belief and confidence in the Oman dressing room ahead of this game after they putt in a brilliant performance to see off USA on Wednesday in Al Amerat.
Not for the first time in his career, it was captain Jatinder Singh who stepped up and hit over half of the required 152 runs as he finished unbeaten on 82 not out from 127 balls. Getting the runs inside 50 overs was never going to be the issue for Oman who were able to take their time although Wasim Ali showed more aggression than most and could be the one to carry the attack to the Namibian bowlers this time around.
With the ball, Shakeel Ahmed was the standout performer on Wednesday as he returned figures of 4/26 from his 9.1 overs, but Jay Odedra was not far behind, sending down two maidens as part of his figures of 3/23 from seven!

Considering the amount of experience in this Namibian outfit, they would have been very disappointed to come off the pitch on Friday after having lost by 70 runs to the USA. There would also have been an additional feeling of misery in the side as it came so soon after they had made other teams stand up and take notice of them following their win over Oman!
After taking 5/22 in defeat, slow left-arm orthodox bowler Bernard Scholtz is likely to be key in this game. That five wicket haul followed fiigures of 2/26 and 3/47 in his two previous matches so we expect him to bowl with control and disguise.
Zane Green starred with the bat against USA, hitting 65 runs from 90 balls, but overall the returns with the bat have disappointed across this tour. For instance, in the last head to head with Oman, none of the team went past 39, something they will need to improve on in this game.
