Barring Imran Tahir, who has picked up three wickets in five matches and maintained an economy of 6.55, the spin department has struggled. Shamsi, in particular, has not complemented or supported Tahir well enough, conceding over nine runs per over. Their death bowling has been awful, leaking 10-11 runs per over in their last three outings while bowling first. The inability to pick up wickets with the new ball is another significant concern.

Though their bowlers have been good, their batting unit has been struggling to find form. Zak Crawley is yet to find his rhythm and has never survived for six overs in a match this season.
