NZ vs SL Match Prediction & Analysis New Zealand will take on Sri Lanka in the  3rd T20I of the 3-match series at Saxton Oval, Nelson on 2nd January 2024 at 5:45 am IST. Sri Lanka are on a tour to New Zealand to play three ODIs and three T20 internationals. The tour has begun with a series of T20Is and will be followed by 3 ODIs. TEAMS PREVIEW New Zealand Preview New Zealand have had a mixed year 2024 winning 11 of the 21 international T20 games. Having said that, they have done pretty well against Sri Lanka, winning 4 of their last 5 head-to-head games. They have already won 2 games in this 3-match series. In the first T20I against Sri Lanka, New Zealand pulled off an amazing win by 8 runs. Batting first New Zealand scored 172 for 8 thanks to the rearguard efforts from Daryl Mitchell (62 off 42 balls) and Michael Bracewell (59 off 33 balls). The duo was involved in a 105-run partnership after New Zealand were 65 runs for five wickets in the 10th over. The defense did not start well as they allowed Sri Lanka to cruise to 121 in the 13th over. However, Jacob Duffy took 3 wickets in the 14th over to gain the momentum back for New Zealand. New did not allow the Lankans to get back in the game. Sri Lanka Preview Sri Lanka have done pretty much same as New Zealand in the year 2024. They have played 22 games, winning 10 out of them. But they do particularly badly against New Zealand with just 1 win in the last 5 head-to-head games. Sri Lanka had a great chance of winning the first T20 international against New Zealand. After restricting New Zealand to 172 for 8, Sri Lanka started the chase excellently well, with their openers, Pathum Nissanka and Kushal Mendis, scoring above 120 runs without loss in the 13th over. But as soon as they lost the first wicket on 121, they lost a couple more on the same score. The rest of the batting just could not stand up against New Zealand bowlers. None of the next seven batters managed to score in double digits as Sri Lanka lost by 8 runs. Weather Conditions The weather on the match day at Saxton Oval, Nelson is expected to be a bit of cloudy as well as sunny throughout the day. The temperature will range between a high of 22Β°C and a low of around 12Β°C. There is a possibility of a morning shower but that should not affect the game much. NZ vs SL Pitch Report The venue of the match is Saxton Oval, Nelson. Established in 2009, it was developed by Nelson Cricket Association in New Zealand. The venue has officiated two T20 internationals and 12 ODIs so far along with a few domestic matches. The venue has a seating capacity of around 6,000 spectators. Toss: To Bat Only two international T20 games have been played at this venue before this game. Both the matches have been won by the team batting first. The trend in this series so far has been similar, with New Zealand winning both games batting first. The team winning the toss should bat first here.

Brisbane Heat vs Melbourne Stars TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. BH vs MLS Match Prediction & Analysis This year’s Big Bash League has been another entertaining one and the teams will be raring to go after the festivities and celebrations of New Year’s Eve. But both Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars can ill-afford to party as they end 2024 in poor form with the teams desperate to get off to a winning start in 2025. At home, and as the current BBL holders, it will be Brisbane Heat who will fancy their chances in this game. Although they have lost their last two matches in the tournament, they have already beaten Melbourne Stars and will be confident of repeating their success from earlier in December at the MCG. TEAMS PREVIEW Brisbane Heat Preview Brisbane Heat return to the site of their latest defeat, an eight wicket loss against the high-flying Sydney Sixers on Sunday, and they will be determined to get back to winning ways in front of their passionate home support. They could do with an improvement from captain Colin Munro who is yet to make a double-figure score in BBL14 but Nathan McSweeney has top scored for Brisbane Heat in both of his appearances at the Gabba since being ousted from the Australian Test side. Melbourne Stars Preview So far so bad for Melbourne Stars. After concluding their BBL campaign last season with back to back defeats, Marcus Stoinis’ side have added another five losses in a row and look like a team with very little self-belief ahead of this fixture. There has been one positive in their last two games, the form of England all-format international Ben Duckett. The pint-sized left-hander has made scores of 60+ in both matches and has top scored for the Stars but no one else has been able to make significant contributions. With the bat, Melbourne Stars will look to Duckett, Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell to deliver. Whereas with the ball, the pressure will be on the experienced Peter Siddle, Beau Webster and Usama Mir to deliver. Weather Conditions There is a chance of rain throughout the afternoon in Brisbane but the chances of it lasting into the evening look to be very slim. It should be a warm evening with the temperature up and above 22 degrees from start to finish. BH vs MLS Pitch Report The Gabba remains an iconic venue and Ben Duckett will certainly be keen to put up a good performance ahead of returning here for the Ashes in just under 12 months time. We expect to see a bouncy surface but also with some movement and a par first innings total of 180. Toss: To Bowl This will be the third game at the Gabba in this year’s BBL with the previous two both won by the team who fielded first. Therefore, we predict that both captains will want to field first ahead of this match.

Sydney Thunder vs Melbourne Renegades TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. SYT vs MLR Match Prediction & Analysis This has been a very entertaining Big Bash League so far this season with only Sydney Sixers maintaining a 100% record ahead of Match 15 and Melbourne Stars the only side to have lost five out of five. Their two city-rivals, Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Renegades go head to head in this fixture and both come into the clash only two points behind the Sixers at the top of the tree. Both sides also won their last games so there should be plenty of confidence and self-belief in the home and away dressing rooms at the Sydney Showground Stadium. TEAMS PREVIEW Sydney Thunder Preview Sydney Thunder had the joy of taking on the whipping boys – Melbourne Stars – in their last game and although they only won by 18 runs they were able to get another victory to see their record up to two wins from three games. England international Sam Billings was the star of the show with the bat in that match with the keeper-batter hitting 72 runs from 39 balls. That said, the team management will still be looking for more from skipper David Warner and West Indies international Sherfane Rutherford who are both yet to make significant contributions. With the ball, Lockie Ferguson continues to have an excellent BBL debut campaign and pacer Wes Agar backed him up with 3/25 against the Stars. With Daniel Sams and Chris Green also in the attack, there is plenty of depth for Thunder! Melbourne Renegades Preview There was a famous win for Melbourne Renegades against Perth Scorchers in Match 10 with the men in red getting over the line with two wickets and six balls remaining. In a low-scoring classic, the bowling attack came to the fore but there may be some confidence building required by the batting coaches ahead of this clash. Tom Rogers was the star with the ball in Match 10 and he rightly took home the Player of the Match award after picking up 3/22. He will be vying with Fergus O’Neill and Kane Richardson to be top dog pacer in this game with Adam Zampa the key spinner. Weather Conditions There will be no clouds in Sydney across Monday and the temperature will be in the mid-twenties on Monday evening. Humidity will be no higher than 50% across this game. SYT vs MLR Pitch Report This pitch is likely to deliver par totals of around 165 in this game but there will be something for the bowlers to work with. The new ball will move off the straight and there will also be some turn for the spinners. Toss: To Bowl This pitch at the Sydney Showground Stadium is one which always offers some assistance for the bowlers and we expect more of the same again in this fixture. As a result, we predict that both captains will want to bowl first.

New Zealand vs Sri Lanka TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. NZ vs SL Match Prediction & Analysis The first T20I of this series was a fascinating one with Sri Lanka seemingly cruising to their target of 173 when they were in control on 121 without loss, halfway through the 14th over. However, Jacob Duffy had other ideas as he dismissed Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera and Kamindu Mendis in the space of four deliveries to turn the momentum New Zealand’s way. Ultimately, Sri Lanka were unable to turn the tide after that triple-strike and the game in Mount Maunganui was ultimately won by the hosts by eight runs. The question ahead of this clash is can Sri Lanka wrestle back the momentum, or will New Zealand now cruise through the rest of the series with ease? All will be revealed as we return to Mount Maunganui on Monday! TEAMS PREVIEW New Zealand Preview Although New Zealand won the opening game of the series in Mount Maunganui, there is plenty of room for improvement for Mitchell Santner’s side ahead of this match. Firstly, the top four batters in the order contributed scores of between eight and 15 before Daryl Mitchell hit 62 runs from 42 balls at number five and Michael Bracewell made 59 runs from 33 balls at number seven. Sri Lanka Preview Across the 40 overs of the opening game of the series, according to the win predictor, Sri Lanka were on track to go 1-0 up in the series for all but five of the overs.  Therefore, it is maybe only tweaks to the performance which is required from Charith Asalanka’s side, rather than wholesale changes, and they need to be able to stand up and be counted in the big moments. With the ball, Nuwan Thushara was the only member of the bowling attack to go wicketless but Binura Fernando, Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga all picked up two dismissals each. Weather Conditions It’s going to be a fine and warm day in Mount Maunganui on Monday with the temperature up at 26 degrees during the early afternoon. This is an evening game with the temperature likely to drop down to 19 degrees but there will be no rain interruptions. NZ vs SL Pitch Report As we saw on Saturday, there is something for the bowlers in Mount Maunganui but when the batters get in they can also have success. We expect a par total of 180 with consistent bounce and some turn for the spinners. Toss: To Bowl It was Sri Lanka who won the toss on Saturday and chose to field first. Although they ultimately lost the game, they had the better of the conditions for batting so we predict that both captains will want to bowl first again.

Brisbane Heat vs Sydney Sixers TV channels: The fans can watch the match live on Hotstar Live Streaming: Live streaming of the match will be available on the FAFA191 Cricket Exchange India and website. BH vs SYS Match Prediction & Analysis Both Brisbane Heat and Sydney Sixers were quick out of the traps in this edition of the Big Bash League but it is the latter who come into this game still with a 100% record. Brisbane Heat got the better of both Melbourne Stars and Adelaide Strikers before they came a cropper against Perth Scorchers but Sydney Sixers have beaten Melbourne Renegades, Sydney Thunder and Melbourne Stars. This game sees two of the most successful BBL franchises from the past few years go head to head and, even though Sydney Sixers lead the overall fixtures 14-7, it is Heat who have been far and away the more successful in recent clashes. TEAMS PREVIEW Brisbane Heat Preview After enjoying their first two games of the campaign, fielding first, Brisbane Heat found the going a lot tougher in Match 12 as they were downed by Perth Scorchers in spite of choosing to chase after winning the toss. Their bowlers put in a reasonable display, picking up six wickets and restricting the Scorchers to 165 as Spencer Johnson announced his return to the tournament with a brilliant display of left-arm pace bowling. He took the now customary first over wicket of Finn Allen before retuning to dismiss Cooper Connolly in the 15th and Ashton Turner along with Ashton Agar in the 19th. Sydney Sixers Preview Sydney Sixers have had many strong squads over the past decade but this latest reincarnation could possibly be the best of the lot! Coming into this game, and still yet to fail to win a game in this edition, the Sixers managed to turn around conceding 116/3 in the opening ten overs against Melbourne Stars to romp home by eight wickets with 11 balls remaining. Of the bowling attack, only Jack Edwards comes into this clash without a wicket in the last fixture and it was Jackson Bird who stoood out with figures of 3/35. It will turn at the Gabba which means Akeal Hosein and Todd Murphy will both be dangerous. With the bat, it is England’s James Vince who will be full of confidence after he hit an unbeaten 101 runs from 58 balls in the big win over Melbourne Stars. Weather Conditions There could be plenty of life in the wicket early on in this game as Sunday is forecast to be very humid with thunderstorms throughout the morning and early afternoon. Fortunately this match does not start until 18:15, by which time the clouds are expected to have all cleared. BH vs SYS Pitch Report The Gabba is one of the world’s most famous grounds with its distinctive yellow and brown seats making seeing the red ball a challenge at times. There is no such issues with the white ball in the BBL and we expect a par score to be around 180 on a pitch which will turn and bounce. Toss: To Bowl With Sydney Sixers winning all three of their games when fielding first and Brisbane Heat doing the same in their opening two matches, we predict that both captains will want to bowl first in this fixture.

MLS vs SYT Match Prediction & Analysis We have had close contests in the Big Bash League 2024-25. As we enter the 14th game, the Melbourne Stars will fight for survival as they take on Sydney Thunder. The Stars lost to the Sydney Sixers in the last game and are struggling with their form. The Sydney Thunder also lost against the Sixers in a close contest, and the team will look to bounce back and move up on the points table.  The Melbourne Stars sit at the bottom of the points table. They have lost all four matches this season; another loss will seal their fate for the rest of the season. The side has a poor record against Sydney Thunder, with losses in the last three games. It remains to be seen if the Stars can recover in this game with a good performance and keep their hopes alive for the rest of the season.  TEAMS PREVIEW Melbourne Stars Preview It will be an uphill climb for Marcus Stoinis’ team. They have lost all four games they have played and sit at the bottom of the points table. They went down by 8 wickets in the last game against the Sydney Sixers. The bowling attack has struggled in most games. Stoinis would want his players to pull up their socks and do well in this game to keep hopes alive.  Ben Duckett batted brilliantly in the last game, and he will have a key role at the top with his opening partner, Thomas Rogers. They have a strong middle order and expect runs from Sam Harper, Glenn Maxwell, and Stoinis. Tom Curran and Hilton Cartwright have good hitting abilities, and the team expects them to add quick runs in the lower middle order.  Sydney Thunder Preview David Warner’s team will look to make a strong comeback in the tournament. They had a poor outing against the Sydney Sixers in the last game, going down by 5 wickets. They struggled with the bat and paid the price. Warner would like to exploit Melbourne Stars’ lack of form in this game and improve his team’s position on the points table.  David Warmer must lead from the front and put up a big partnership with Nic Maddinson for the first wicket. Cameron Bancroft is looking in good form, and he will look to build partnerships with Oliver Davies and Sherfane Rutherford. The team has depth in the batting and expects good performances from Daniel Sams and Sam Billings.  Weather Conditions There would be clear skies over Canberra on December 28, which would make the conditions great for T20 cricket. The wicket would be flat, though there would be some assistance for the bowlers here. The average first innings score is 149 runs, and a score of 170 runs or more should be the target for the side batting first. MLS vs SYT Pitch Report Manuka Oval, Canberra, has short square boundaries, which is good for batsmen who like playing their strokes square of the wicket. The outfield here is fast, a huge bonus for the batsmen. Fast bowlers do get their assistance from the surface, but it is a difficult venue for the spinners to bowl. Toss: To Bowl In the last five games at this venue, the side chasing the score has won four times. There would be something in there for the bowlers on this surface, as we had seen during the last few matches. The side winning the toss would like to use these conditions and bowl first upon winning the toss.

NZ vs SL Match Prediction & Analysis It is the first game of the three-match T20i series, and both teams shall look for an early lead. New Zealand had drawn the last T20 series against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka and is playing at home; the side will count on its chances. The Sri Lankans haven’t done well outside the subcontinent in recent years, and this will be a big test for the team in this game.  Sri Lanka has a poor record playing in New Zealand. They have won only once in the eight T20 games against the hosts. The side doesn’t have a strong bowling attack for these conditions. New Zealand has a strong fast bowling unit and shall look to leverage it. The history is against the Sri Lankans, and it will be interesting to see if they can turn it around on this tour. TEAMS PREVIEW New Zealand Preview Mitchell Santner and his team will start confidently in this game. They have done well at home and have the bowling attack to trouble the Sri Lankans in these conditions. However, Santner will know his opponents’ abilities to deliver a strong counterpunch and expect a strong show from his players.  Tim Robinson and Mark Chapman will look to deliver a good start and put the team in a commanding position. The middle order is strong for the team, and they expect a good show in this game from Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Phillips, and Daryl Mitchell. Mitchell Santner, Zakary Foulkes, and Mitchell Hay strengthen this batting lineup with their hitting abilities.  The bowlers will enjoy bowling in these conditions, and the team expects Jacob Duffy and Matt Henry to rock the Sri Lankan top order. Mitchell Santner will look to use his experience and do well in the middle overs with Zakary Foulkes. Ravindra and Glenn Phillips add variety to this attack, making it strong. Sri Lanka Preview Charith Asalanka’s team will face a massive challenge in this game. They have struggled in these conditions, and their batting lineup has a history of struggling on fast and bouncy tracks. Asalanka would like his batsmen to take the challenge head-on and do well in this game to take an early lead.  Pathum Nissanka has enjoyed good form in recent matches, and he must deliver a good start with Kusal Mendis and handle the Kiwi fast bowling attack. Kusal Perera, Kamindu Mendis, and Charitha Asalanka make a rock solid. Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Wanindu Hasaranga are good hitters, and the team expects runs from them in the lower middle order.  The bowling attack must use the conditions well for the team to win. Matheesha Pathirana and Nuwan Thushara must get early breakthroughs, as New Zealand has a strong batting lineup. Asitha Fernando and Wanindu Hasaranga will look to keep an eye on the scoring rate in the middle overs. Maheesh Theekshana and Kamindu Mendis must do well in the supporting role. Weather Conditions The skies over Mount Maunganui will have some clouds on December 28. The wicket would be challenging to bat, where the ball will bounce and move. The side that bats first in the game should be happy to score 180 runs or more, with the average first-innings score being 152 runs. NZ vs SL Pitch Report Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, is a happy hunting ground for fast bowlers. They get the ball to seam and swing on this surface. However, the smaller dimensions of the venue also allow batsmen to play their strokes easily. Grass on the track makes it a very challenging place for the spinners to bowl. Toss: To Bowl The conditions will be good for bowling when the ball moves around at the start of the game. We have seen batting getting easier as the game goes on. Hence, the side winning the toss in this game shouldn’t hesitate to bowl first.

IND-W vs WIW Match Prediction & Analysis India Women won the second ODI by 115 runs to gain an unassailable lead of 2-0 against West Indies Women. India Women also won the first ODI of the three-match series by a huge margin of 211 runs. India Women will take on West Indies Women in the 3rd and final ODI at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara on 27th December 2024. India Women’s showed batting prowess in the first two ODIs to setup big totals against West Indies Women. The bowling topped it off with some excellent spells to win the series for India with a match to go. India Women will be looking for clean sweep in this third and last match of the series. TEAMS PREVIEW India Preview After winning the T20 leg of the series 2-1, India Women have sealed the 3-match ODI series against West Indies Women by registering another comprehensive victory by 115 runs in the second ODI. They have already won the first ODI by 211 runs. With the series in pocket, the India Women would go for the kill in the third ODI. In the first match, India Women posted 314 for 9 with Smriti Mangana top-scoring with 91 runs for India. Later, Renuka Singh took a maiden five-wicket haul to both West Indies out for just 103 runs, winning the game by 211 runs. The second ODI proved to be a run-fest. India Women piled up 358 for 5, thanks to Harleen Deol’s maiden international century, 115 runs, and opener Pratika Rawal’s innings of 76 runs. Jemimah Rodrigues and Smriti Mandana also scored valuable 50s.  West Indies Preview West Indies Women’s weakness in batting costed them yet again as they are down 0-2 in the three-match series against India Women. It was a much better performance in the second ODI by West Indies Women, but their over-dependence in batting on Hayley Matthews was on display yet again.  The first ODI was a total disaster for West Indies Women as they could not withstand a superb bowling spell from Renuka Singh and bundled out for just 103 runs, losing the match by a big margin of 211 runs. The second ODI was not too far away from the first one, except that Hayley Matthews scored a century that saved face for West Indies Women. In the run fest, after conceding 358 to India Women, West Indies Women managed to score 243 all out on the back of a superb century by captain Hayley Matthews. The rest of the WI back and right showed little to no spark, which has been the case throughout the series. Captain Hayley Matthews has been the standout performer for Western League with the pass, but the team needs to support her for Western League to have any chance of winning the third ODI. Their bowling has been below par with no noteworthy performances so far in the ODI series. This is the last match of the tour for West Indies Women. Having lost 1-2 in the T20I leg of the series. West Indies would love to, at the least, replicate the same scoreline in the ODI series as well and end the series on a winning note. Weather Conditions The weather on the match day at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara is expected to be sunny and clear the temperature would range between 31Β°C to a low of 21Β°C. There is some humidity expected with a bit of cloud cover but there is no chance of rain on the match day. Looks like a perfect day to play cricket. IND-W vs WIW Pitch Report The Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara is a newly built cricket venue located on the outskirts of the city. Owned by the Baroda Cricket Association, the stadium boasts a seating capacity of around 35,000 spectators. It has hosted 2 international matches so far between India Women and West Indies Women. It’s been a good batting wicket so far with help for bowlers early on in the innings. Toss: To Bat Both the ODIs at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara have ended in wins for team batting first. India Women batted first in both the matches and scored above 300 runs. It looks like a bat first wicket with some help for bowlers in the later stages. The team winning the toss should bat first here.

The Strikers currently sit fifth with two points from three games. The Hurricanes also have two points, though from just two games. That said, the Strikers have had the better of the Hurricanes in recent encounters, which could give them the edge heading into this showdown. TEAMS PREVIEW Adelaide Strikers Preview Adelaide Strikers have managed just one win from three matches so far in their campaign. They are coming off a 3-wicket loss to Brisbane Heat, where they failed to defend 175 at the Gabba.  Alex Ross and James Bazley have been the team’s top run-getters after the three matches, scoring over 70 runs each.  The Strikers will be expecting a big knock from Matthew Short, the leading run-scorer in BBL 13. Chris Lynn and D’Arcy Short hold greater responsibility in carrying the batting lineup. D’Arcy has already struck a fifty and is looking in great touch. Hobart Hurricanes Preview Hobart Hurricanes began their season on a disappointing note with a loss to the Melbourne Renegades. However, they bounced back in style, clinching an impressive 8-wicket win against the Perth Scorchers. Chasing a target of 156, they reached it with four balls to spare, thanks to opener Mitchell Owen’s outstanding unbeaten knock of 101 off 64 balls. The team will be counting on Ben McDermott to deliver a standout performance. McDermott, who amassed 261 runs last season, has the ability to anchor the innings when needed. Shai Hope has shown stability at the crease and will be tasked with holding things together, while Tim David remains a key player for explosive hitting in the lower order. On the bowling front, Riley Meredith has hit his stride early, claiming 4 wickets at an economy of 8.25. Alongside Nathan Ellis, Meredith will need to shoulder the main bowling responsibilities, given the inexperience of the rest of the attack. Weather Conditions Adelaide Oval is typically a good batting surface for T20s. The ball tends to come onto the bat nicely, allowing for free-flowing strokeplay. Fast bowlers might find some early assistance, but the pitch usually settles down. Spinners could become relevant later in the innings as the surface potentially slows down but it’s generally a venue where batsmen can feel confident. The weather in Adelaide will be cool and pleasant – perfect for a full game of T20 cricket. ADS vs HBH Pitch Report The average score batting first at the Adelaide Oval is 166. The highest total posted at the venue is Sydney Thunder’s 232-5 versus Sydney Sixers in 2021, a game they won by 46 runs. The team batting first in this match will look to set a score of around 170-180 runs. Toss: To Bat Adelaide Oval generally favors teams batting first. In 74 T20s played here, 42 have been won by the team setting the target, a trend that continued in the opening BBL 14 game of the season. Therefore, it’s likely both teams will aim to bat first in this upcoming match.

AUS vs IND Match Prediction & Analysis With the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series locked at 1-1, cricket fans worldwide eagerly await the highly anticipated fourth Test between India and Australia, set to begin on December 26, 2024β€”a showdown coinciding with the legendary Boxing Day Test. The Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, will host the test between December and 30th December. In the last test, India survived the Australian pace attack with the help of the rain. Steven Smith and Travis Head’s centuries guided Australia to 445 in the first innings. India Managed to avoid the follow-on due to the 47-run partnership between Bumrah and Aksh Deep for the last wicket. India then bowled with great determination to force Australia to declare on 89 for losing seven wickets. The rain interrupted the game for the nth time before they decided to call it an end. Bumrah took 9 wickets in the test with six of them taken in the first innings. TEAMS PREVIEW Australia Preview Australia have bolstered their top order by adding Sam Konstas. The hosts face a significant concern as none of their three top-order batters have scored over a hundred runs in the series so far. Marnus Labuschagne, with a series-high of just 82 runs, underscores the struggles at the top. Usman Khwaja will open the innings with Konstas. Khwaja has played 6 tests at MCG scoring 422 runs at an average of 57. But Labuschagne has some bad memories at this ground averaging just 30. Steve Smith and Travis Head will come in the middle for Australia. Both scored centuries in the last game. Smith is familiar with MCG ground. In 18 innings, he has scored 1093 runs at an average of 78.07. This includes four centuries and five half-centuries. Travis Head is currently the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 409 runs at an average of 81.80. He will be the batter to watch out for. India Preview With the ICC Test Championship Final spot under threat, India will take the field with enormous pressure. Yashaswi Jaiswal will open the innings with KL Rahul. KL Rahul has been a standout performer for India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, showcasing remarkable consistency at the top of the order. The leading run-scorer for India has 235 runs at an average of 47. Jaiswal, his partner, is the third leading run-scorer of the tournament with 193 runs. but he lacks consistency. Shubhman Gill will come at number three. The prince’s form has been poor this year. In two tests, he has scored 60 runs. Virat Kohli will come in the middle with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. Kohli scored a ton in the first Test. Besides that, he has just 23 runs in the remaining four innings. His inability to play the offside balls has been the talk of the cricket world in the last week. Sharma has been out of form since the start of 2023. Since Jan 2023, Sharma has scored 1152 runs in 37 tests at an average of 32. But the shocking part comes when he faces the good-length balls. He averages 12 while facing good length balls for the last two years. Ravindra Jadeja scored 77 runs in the only innings he played so far. His average in Australia is now better than Virat Kohli’s. Weather Conditions The weather at  MCG is expected to be cloudy on match day, with temperatures ranging between 17 and 29 degrees Celsius. Winds will blow from the southeast at 6-11 km/h. It gives a good balance for both bowlers and batsmen. Bowlers can benefit from the pitch in the early stages, which offers a nice bounce. As the game goes on and the pitch gets older, batsmen can play their shots comfortably. AUS vs IND Pitch Report The game will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne on 26th December onwards. The stadium has a capacity of 100000 spectators. The stadium has hosted 117 Tests, 161 ODIs and 27 T20s. Cricket’s first ODI match was also held at the MCG.
