Kings have swung from one extreme to another. A successful run-chase in the opening game on the back of a hundred from James Vince at number 3 was followed by a complete batting collapse in the next outing while chasing 202 runs.
The bowling hasnβt changed much since they conceded 200+ in both matches. However, the skipper needs to find his form and lead the side from the front. There are others in this lineup who havenβt looked very promising and could hurt the Kingsβ chances of a comeback.
Tim Seifert is a key batsman at the top and has been in great form for his national side. He will be the top candidate to be the top batsman for Karachi Kings. Shan Masood holds a crucial position at number 4 but hasnβt delivered as expected so far.
Quetta Gladiators Preview
Quetta Gladiators suffered a huge batting collapse in their second outing while chasing a 220-run target. All of their star players from the previous match failed to get going in the top 4 and were back in the hut early in the chase.
Skipper Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen are key performers in this batting order. The two openers are the most promising big-hitters in the top order and will be expected to deliver a strong start in this match.
